little man cave...

remember me?
i know...
i'm a ridiculously terrible blogger.
please forgive...
i'm raising babies over here.  ;)

which is why it took THIS long
to get the newest baby's room done.

he is 7 months and 14 days old today,
and we just drove the final nail in his room
this afternoon.

sheesh...  and it's not even terribly complicated.
we're just terribly slow.

{disclaimer : not attempting to win
any photography contests
with this post.}

 until John-John earns his very first sports jersey,
we decided to frame his "coming home" outfit.

{close up of wall above changing table/dresser}

when picking his colors,
we started with gray,
because EVERYTHING in my house starts with gray.
hee hee
then we added pops of orange and dark aqua.

we mounted some white boxes from ikea
and put scrapping paper behind them
to add some color.

i LOVE wallpaper.
we bought this fun paintable/textured wallpaper
for the accent wall behind his crib
and painted it a dark charcoal.

this was a bookcase from ikea
that we turned sideways.
the grammy made these bench seats
out of a shower curtain in the same fabric as his quilt.
{way cheaper than buying the actual fabric for it)

man-ccessories. :)

 i am so happy he is pleased with his room.

he's my very favorite (and shortest) he-client so far.  ;)

  1. Don't know how you manage to always have the most delicious kids, but you do! LOVE the man cave, esp. the orange.
