john-john's birth announcement

this poor boy was four months old,

and his birth announcement

was still not out.

i don't do well without deadlines.

invitations get done on time

because they MUST be out

at least 2 weeks before the event.

but birth announcements... eek!

i thought about not sending them

because i was so horrified

that it had taken me so long

to get my act together,

but i just could not do

for the fourth

what i had for his 3 female predecessors. 

l's were out within 1 month,

E's, 2,

and little e's 3,

so at least i'm consistent. 

{sheepish grin}

so they finally made it out

(at least to his immediate family)...

even if he is now old enough

to ride his bike to the post office himself.
