last month,

i got to do the decorative side

of my darling nephew's

first birthday party.

the theme was construction vehicles

and i was thrilled.

don't get me wrong..

i adore pink, purple ruffled lovelies.

but this was quite a nice change of pace

for a mother of three girls. 

P's mama put together the favor baskets

with the tags i whipped up.

the drink/cake table

complete with customized water bottles

and birthday bunting.

doesn't the world seem better

when a bunting is involved?!

cupcake tower with mini "P" toppers.

a fun time was had by all!

and now i got enough of that out of my system

to be whole-heartedly satisfied

with my land of pink and purple ruffled lovelies!
