my baby is two today!
and i love her so...
poor dear had to get glasses this past summer.
i could not have been more upset
when we found out.
i know it seems stupid and selfish,
but this is the first time
something has been actually wrong with one my kids,
and i have to say, i didn't handle it well.
(daddy tucking in our one-year-old on birthday eve)
but now it's just life.
she has the most beautiful blue eyes,
and now you can just see them better. :)
she has done wonderfully well with them
which we are so thankful for.

anyway, with all the things that can go wrong
with one's children,
this is very minor,
and we are so thankful that the other
98% of her is totally perfect.
(playing with her new kitchen.. she's obsessed
major points for mommy... yeah!)
she's at such a fun age
where everything is new and magical,
and i could just eat her up
(and i often do!)
we thank God for such a sweet blessing...
