as room mom, i wanted to host a
mother's day tea for L's class.
the kids were very excited to help me plan.
i made paper corsages as a mini-favor.
the Tea (and by tea, I mean pink lemonade) was on Friday,
and we all had a great time.
it's so cute to see all of their proud, little faces.
kids are the best!
my mother's day was fantastic!
i milk these festivities to their utmost.
i didn't change a diaper all day
(okay well two but there are basketball playoffs on
so that was a pretty good percentage!!)
there was grammy chocolate pie...mmmm!
and my girls "picked out" this gorgeous lamp...
i haven't decided exactly where i want it yet
but it's just lovely,
and i will soon find it a suitable home.
i hope all of you mothers had a lovely day
and were pampered beyond your expectations!
it really is the best job on the planet.

but whose place no one else can take."
